Bio

I started researching my family tree in 1974 before computers and it wasn't until computers in 1995, that I really began to dive deeper into the research. My family has assisted me in this endeavors as has many people I have been in touch with through family and the internet. The people on the internet have helped me phenomenally and guided me in directions I could not have done on my own. I do attempt to ensure that what is posted is accurate. However, mistakes can be made. I am open to corrections at any time as I want the information to be accurate. I like to give credit where credit it due. If I manage a site and a family member requests to take it over, I am most honored to let the family control their ancestry.

I have helped many people over the years to trace their family tree and do it to see the enjoyment and satisfaction it brings them. I have taken courses to help in understanding census, etc, but by no means am I an expert. I have learned through the many years of searching for information. It is a hobby that is very addictive in a good way, however it can bring me frustration when I hit the brick wall or having me jumping for joy when I find the answer.

Searching for one's heritage is a never ending journey that takes you places you would never imagine having been to. I find over the years that places our ancestors have been is places our descendants go to. So what goes around comes around.
