Bio
I am a native Greenvillian (SC). My family has called the upstate of SC home for, at least, seven generations.
I became interested in my family's history by listening to both of my grandmothers tell stories about our relatives. I began searching seriously in 1978. I'm glad I started that young because I was able to talk with a lot of folks who aren't around now. Much of the information I had at first was word-of-mouth.
Some of the surnames I am researching are: Turner, Owens, Pitman, Rhodes, Cox, Allen, Noe, Stroup, Kuykendall, Owensby, Taylor, Hardin, Hawkins, Curry, Poole (Pettypool, Pettipool) Potts and Sanderline (or Sauderline). [email protected]
