One of my hobbies for many years was dabbling in genealogy. In order to establish the burial place of my ancestors, I often found myself searching cemeteries for their tombstones. When I found Find-a-Grave in the early 2000s, I found it helped me locate the burial places of several ancestors and/or extended family. I also found that sometimes I could also glean additional information about their lives, especially if a biography was added, or if the individual was linked to their spouse(s), parents, siblings, or any children who had passed on. I made it my mission to create as many links as possible so that if my children or extended family wish to find out more about the family now or after I have passed on, they could move from generation to generation easily using Find-a-Grave. Through my efforts, basic information about our family members is at their fingertips. Now that I have completed 8-11 generations of almost all my lines, as well as my husbands, I enjoy helping others with their genealogical burial ventures.
