Researching my hometown of Trilby is particularly interesting to me. While growing up, I would hear intriguing stories of how it had once been a booming place and started recording the community's history even in middle school. When unearthing old treasures that would surface in our pasture on the old townsite and hearing these old stories, I felt like I was growing up on the site of ancient Babylon or some other great culture!

While tracing the genealogy of the families of the Trilby community, I also enjoy my own family history...My father's side in Sumter, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, and Lake Counties and my mother's side in Madison County and in south Georgia. Of course, I'm always happy to help someone else research an angle in their family too.
