Both of my maternal grand-parents were from the K-Ville, Screven, Appling, Georgia areas. Both of my paternal grandparents were from the Calhoun, Gordon County areas of Georgia. I am the grand-daughter of Leonard David Griffis & Sarah Alice Thornton-Griffis and Roy Lee Cronon & Beulah Mevara McCollum-Cronon. (My dad's last name was spelled incorrectly on his birth record as Cronnon and as an adult used this spelling instead of Cronon). I am interested in resarching geneolgy for the Carter/Griffis, Boatright/Thornton, and Cronon/McCollum and Towe families.

My husband's family is from Eufaula, Alabama and Georgetown, Georgia. I am interested in searching for the Barnes, Norman, Webb, Brannon families.
