Much of my family lives in the St. Louis, MO area. However, I'm one of those transplants that moved with my husband to the Northern Virginia area where we spent 26 years. Our current location is sunny Ocala, FL.

My interest in genealogy began with my grandmother who provided me with basic information on her parents and grandparents. Now, thanks to the internet, I've been able to do a lot of long-distance research. Also, my aunts and uncles have been very helpful in providing pictures and stories of "times past". I'm looking forward to the release of the 1940 census data to further my research.
