Bio
*** I left NY State in 2014 and I now live in SE West Virginia. I have been inactive here from 2012 to early 2022. I travel to NY rarely and I regret that I am unlikely to be able to fulfill photo requests in a timely manner. If you have left a request, I will definitely try to get to it next time I am in the area. I now have an updated email address and you can reach me. I will work through the backlog of messages and requests as time permits. ***
I've always found cemeteries interesting.
I've researched a few families' history and genealogy, often because of some unrelated circumstance or event.
Currently I'm researching the family members of a NYC harpmaker named Rocco Bruno who died in 1899. I have a harp he rebuilt and I'm hoping to find some surviving family members who might know more about his work.
I live in a historic house and have also researched the family who built and inhabited it. I will eventually get memorials built for these folks in case someone else out there is also looking for information on William Cornelius Hasbrouck and his decendents.
As I take volunteer photos I have been trying to take a few nearby as well. When I have a little time I'll start building memorials for these people too. If I have built one for a family member of yours, please request a transfer. I would be very happy to see these virtual memorials recognised by their surviving family.
