Mom Shirley is the daughter of Morley W. and Pauline (Crandall) Bray(e) of Superior, Nuckolls, NE (both deceased), son of Byron A. Bray(e) (of Syracuse, Otto, NE). Byron's father was Zalmon Bray (Ontario County, NY/Grays Harbor, WA), who was the son of Nathaniel Bray (Ontario County, NY/Syracuse, NE). Nathaniel's father was Cornelius Bray (Hunterdon County, NJ/Ontario County, NY). Cornelius' father was Andrew Bray, Sr. (Trenton, Hunterdon County, NJ/Ontario County, NY), son of James Bray, Sr. (Monmouth County, NJ/Hunterdon County, NJ). James was the son of John Bray, Jr. (Monmouth County, NJ), who was the son of Rev. John Bray, Sr. (Exeter, Rockingham County, NH/Holmdel, Monmouth County, NJ). Rev. Bray's father was Richard Bray (b. England or Scotland; d. Lynn, MA) who was at Oyster River Plantation (then part of Dover, now Durham, NH), as early as 1657. They have two daughters - youngest is Alicia Marie (Swanstrom) Lucas, mother of granddaughter Ava Marie and grandson Everest Francis, and wife of Anthony Francis Lucas of Reston, Fairfax, VA. Our eldest daughter is Kitska Rene (Swanstrom) Garrison, mother of our grandsons Cason Braye, Grant Harrison, and Clint Dean, and wife of Jack Cason Garrison of Broad Run, Fauquier, VA. My brother, David Lee, passed in 2015. My sister, Pam S. (Swanstrom) (Wilderman) Kerns, resides wither her husband Bob in Lincoln, Lancaster, NE.
