I am a native of Missouri but I recently moved to the Portland, Oregon area. I grew up in Oklahoma and I have lived in Arizona also. I enjoy graving because 1. it is part of our history 2. I think old headstones are beautiful and an unrecognized art form 3. photographing cemeteries is a hobby of mine and this could be useful to others.
