I didn't get involved in genealogy until my father passed away in 2003. We traveled a lot while I was growing up, so I never really got to know extended family or much of the family roots. A friend showed me this website and I got hooked. It has been such fun to track down relatives and stories that I never knew existed. I am hoping my kids will come to appreciate knowing something of their ancestry in the years to come.
