I became interested in genealogy through a friend of mine who was having problem with the software. A distant cousin had done genealogy on my paternal grandmother's family and even hosted a "descendents of..." reunion. I took that information as my starting point and now have 225,000+ names in my database -- not all of them direct relatives of course.
