Bio

Today is January 9, 2013. When I first created my Fina A Grave account April 21, 2005, it was to look up my grandmother, great grandparents, and a few other distant relatives. More out of curiosity than anything really, I was interested in tracing our family lineage and was actually able to go back pretty far just from this site alone. My reasons for visiting this site have changed though. Today I find myself continually viewing memorials of my close relatives that have passed since I first became active here. I've lost another grandmother, both grandfathers, and the most painful is loosing my dad. I am thankful to have Find A Grave, to pay my respect to them at any time I wish. At some point, I may try to volunteer some. I live next to Rest Haven Gardens in Oklahoma City, but I don't have enough time right now. I think it is so nice to have people out there, most of them we don't even know, devoting their time and energy. Not only is this site useful for someone who's just curious about their family lineage, but it provides comfort knowing that we can leave flowers and a note to those we've lost.
