My sister,Barbara and I were raised by my mom alone after my dad died when I was 3. My grandparents Ed and Beatrice helped my mom raise us and these 2 dear people were and still are like my parents. My grandfather especially was like the father I never had. I adored him. He thought I could do no wrong, and I thought the same of him. My "busha" was an angel sent from God. The best cook in the world, who taught me all I know in the kitchen. I am currently a nurse, working with the elderly, probably inspired by my "ja ja". I have 3 children ages 16, 12, and 7. I have been married for 18 years "to a nice Polish boy", as JaJa would have liked. I also currently attend college.
