Mount Olive Cemetery, north of Altha, Calhoun County, Florida is the cemetery where most of my known ancestors are buried. My ancestors surnames are: PEACOCK, LORD, PIERCE and PEARCE, ANDERSON and ANDERSEN, DAVIS, PARKER, TAYLOR, and LYONS. I have ancestors buried in Southwestern GA at Union Baptist Missionary Church Cemetery, north of Donaldsonville, GA with surnames of LORD and LYONS; and Tired Creek Methodist Church Cemetery, north of Cairo, GA with surnames of DAVIS and HAYES and HAYS; and Sandersville, Washington County, GA with surnames of PEACOCK and possibly PARKER. Most of my ANDERSEN and ANDERSON line is in the 1880 census in AL. Most of my PIERCE and PEARCE surnames are from Barbour County, AL. My PEACOCK family surnames are believed to have arrived in NC before the American Revolution and then migrating primarily to SC, GA, AL, & FL.
