Bio

Mark is Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Utah. He has helped Jim add photos and build tools for use by Find a Grave contributors. He met Find A Grave's creator, Jim, at a Midnight Oil concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 1990 and then randomly during the next two years, mostly wandering around the town where they went to college. They proceeded to meet again 7 years later when Mark and his wife Susie moved to Salt Lake where Jim and his wife live. Today, Jim and Mark are in a rock and roll band called the lonelyGnomes with friends.

Mark's favorite pasttimes are working on the many projects in the 1902 bungalow that he and Susie own and live in with their two children, taking large format photographs, playing guitar, catching up on all the movies he has missed in the past 3 years by subscribing to Netflix, and making slow progress reading books for 10 minutes before he passes out every night.
