DALLAS LEWIS CRABTREE, 37 years of age of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Thursday, June 24, 2004 at his home. Born in McDowell County, WV January 6, 1967 he was the son of Albert Owen Crabtree of Coalwood, WV and Mary Ruth Hardin Whitt of Hurley, VA. He was a 1985 graduate of Hurley High School, a graduate of Concord College where he received his Bachelor Degree of Arts and Science, a disabled U. S. Air force Veteran, was of the Pentecostal Faith and an avid sports enthusiasts.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Jeffery Owen Crabtree.
He is survived by his father: Albert Owen Crabtree of Coalwood, WV; his mother: Mary Ruth Hardin Whitt and step-father Harold Whitt of Hurley, VA; one sister: Aundrea Justus and husband Scott of Rosedale, VA.
Funeral services for Dallas Lewis Crabtree will be held Monday, June 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, VA with Reverends: Ronnie Sliger and Russell King officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be Barry Matney, Gaylor Friend, Brian Hurley, Jarod Matney, Brian Sullivan, Chad Blankenship, Cris Buchanan and Scott Justus
