Mrs. Brown was a teacher's aide with Marion Community Schools for eight years. She also was a secretary for Grant Memorial Park Cemetery for two years. She had taught piano for 25 years.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church, sang with a quartet of friends who called themselves "The Believers," and also had played the piano and organ in several area churches.
Survivors include a son, Brent (Sheryl) Buroker, Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Kristi (Dave) Martin, Omaha, Neb.; mother, Mary (Brewer) Rhineberg, Marion; stepdaughters, Lisa Hudson, Noblesville, Diana Brown, Westfield, and Deborah (James "Deke") Bullard, Noblesville; mother-in-law, Christeen Brown, Marion; and grandchildren, Ryan and Rachelle Martin, Shelby, Courtney and Jake Hudson, Abbi, Grant and Kolby Bullard.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Rhineberg.
