MRS. MARY SHOEMAKER
Mrs. Mary Shoemaker, 83, died at her home at 40 West Union Street, Shickshinny, Thursday morning. She had been ill a year and was bedfast three weeks.
Mrs. Shoemaker was born in New Columbus and at 9 years moved to Shickshinny where she resided since.
She was a member of Shickshinny Presbyterian Church, PO of A, Camp 137, and of Friends of Rebekah Lodge 458.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Oma Shoemaker, at home; sons, Harry Shoemaker, at home; Walter Shoemaker, Shickshinny, and five grandsons.
The funeral services will be held today at 2:30 from the home on West Union Street, with Rev. Clifford C. Weber, pastor of Shickshinny Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
