Several published trees list her as a daughter of McCoy Anderson and Alsie Phipps. However, we do not find her in their household in any census record.
She appears in the household of their son, Floyd Columbus Anderson 5 times (1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930), twice listed as Floyd's daughter, twice listed as Floyd's stepdaughter, and finally as a lodger. So, we have a conflict - was she Floyd's sister, daughter, or stepdaughter?
Her death certificate lists her father as "Malon" Anderson (Floyd's brother), but that would not be possible - Mahlon, b. 1865, was at most, 11 years her senior (the FaG memorial has her birthdate as 1874, but the death cert lists 1876).
