Marjorie Evangeline Jackson was born on November 1, 1909. She spent many years as an elementary school teacher. She was married to Glen Taft Hickman and there were two daughters born to this union, Mary Elaine Hickman Tapper and Marjorie Jean Hickman Spring. After her husband Glen's passing in 1969 (Sardis Cemetery Hudson, N.C.), she was later remarried to the late Dr. Perry Yates Jackson, PhD (Captain, United States Navy, Retired) who was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery in 1989. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She died two weeks after her 95th birthday.
