Son of Calvin F. and Amy Crandall Huntley, he married Adella Brown of Pitcher Springs on July 4, 1874 in Pitcher, Chenango Co., NY. Nate and Adella had three children, Mrs. Amy Adella Huntley (Frank) Storing, Mrs. Eva Adeline Huntley (Emmett)Brown and William Wallace Huntley; six grandchildren, Adella Margaret Storing, Zada Isadore Storing, Edna Kathleen Storing, Neil Edward Huntley, Merle Everett Huntley and William Earl Huntley.

The remains of Nathan Huntley, who died at the home of his son, Will, near Beaver Meadow, will be brought here Tuesday for interment by the side of his wife in Wayside Rest. Mrs. Huntley died in 1895 and was the first one to be laid in our cemetery. Mr. Huntley was for many years a resident on Moon Hill and a very devoted member of our church choir and class leader. Had he lived until March 28, he would have been 92 years of age.

South Otselic section:
The funeral services of Nathan Huntley were held at the M. E. church, Tuesday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock, with Undertaker Irving Ward of Norwich in charge.

Mr. Huntley died at the home of his son, Will, in Beaver Meadow with whom he lived, Saturday night at six o'clock.
He would have been 92 years old on the 28th of this month. He was a member of the M. E. church. Besides his son mentioned he leaves two daughters, Mrs. E. D. Brown of Beaver Meadow and Mrs. Amy Storing of this place, six grandchildren and many friends.

Mrs. Amy Storing was at her brother's, Will Huntley, last week helping care for her father.

Word was received here of the death of Nathan Huntley of Tallett Hill on Saturday afternoon. He leaves to mourn his loss, two daughters, Mrs. Amy Storing of South Otselic and Mrs. E. D. Brown, Beaver Meadow, and a son, Will Huntley of Tallett Hill, at whose home he passed away. The family has the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
