CONNIE FAY PAYNE BAKER McKENNEY 55 years of age of Herndon, WV formerly of Jolo, WV passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. Born in McDowell County September 7, 1948, she was the daughter of Isiah ?Red? Payne of Jolo, WV and the late Mary E. Hatfield Payne.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband: Lewis McKenney; one brother: James W. Payne; two infant daughters: Mary Alta Baker and Carolyn Baker.
She is survived by her father: Isiah ?Red? Payne fo Jolo, WV; one daughter: Gaynell Baker Shaewsbury and financee Kenney of Allen Junction, WV; three sons: Matthew Baker and wife Trina of Winston Salem, NC, Clinton Baker and wife Renee of Herndon, WV and Steven ?Flubber? Cooper and financee Amy of Princeton, WV; two sisters: Irish Ann Cooper and husband Thurman of Raven, VA and Anita Vance and husband Larry of Bradshaw, WV; four brothers: Herbert Payne and wife Alberta of Jolo, WV, Donald Payne of Cedar Bluff, VA, Leon Payne of Jolo, WV and Roland Payne and wife Barbara Ann of Milton, WV. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Christy, James, William, Timothy, Stanley, Greg, Jessica, Regina, Eric, Alisha, Alisa, Andrew and Austin.
Funeral services for Connie Fay Payne Baker McKenney will be held Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Three Forks Church of the Living God at Jolo, WV with Reverend Charlie Kennedy, Roger Woods and Reverend Hubert Swiney officiating. Burial will follow in the Simeon L. Payne Cemetery on Keen Ridge Road, Paynesville, WV.
Active Pallbearers will be Nephews.
