Lois Faye Anderson, age 77 passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1943 in Bon Air Community of White County to the late J.B. and Hazel Marie Hawkins Anderson. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Sue (Trumen) Clouse and Verice (Joe) Greg.
Lois worked most of her life in shirt factories until her hands wouldn't let her, due to the Rheumatiod Arthritis. She loved and believed in God. She lived most of her life on the Bon Air Mountain, until her health declined, then she lived with her son Michael. She loved her children and her family with all her heart. She enjoyed crocheting, working with her flowers and her pets.
She is survived by her son: Michael (John) Yates, Daughter: Pamela (Tim) Taylor
Grandchildren: Casey Taylor and Brian Matz.
Brother: James (Diana) Anderson, Sister: Reba Anderson
Several Nieces and Nephews and she loved them all.
Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with interment in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Houston Austin will officiate the services.
