Cora was the 5th of six children born to Minos Adams Clark (1853-1897) and Mary Ellen "Malie" Clatfelter Clark (1862-1941). Only 3 of the children lived to adulthood. They were:
Hazel Gertrude Clark Kelley 1885-1959
Cora
Noma Hattie Clark Saar 1994-1987

She married Roy Alfred Skonberg (1890-1973) on Jun 11, 1917.
They had one child, Mary Ellen Skonberg Wilson (1918-2000)

I remember Aunt Cora well. She was a grand lady who kept very proper housekeeping. A table set by Cora was a work of art! She was very close to her sister (my Grandmother) Noma. Therefore, I saw them often over the years and even spent a few days with them when I was in college. When they broke up housekeeping to move to Saint Louis to be closer to their daughter Mary Ellen, I got a bedroom suit, a rocking chair and beautiful copper lined smoking cabinet that I have to this day. It is wonderful to have something of your loved ones, they are with you always.

Cora lived to be 102 at the time of her death. She was a lady to the end.
Interestingly, Cora's Aunt Hattie Clatfelter McClure also lived to be 102.
