Roy was the 4th of four children born to Alfred Leonard Skonberg (1855-1944) and Matilda "Thilda" Nelson Skonberg (1859-1949). His siblings were:

Roy married Cora Effie Clark on Jun 11, 1917.
They had one daughter:
Mary Ellen Skonberg Wilson (1918-2000)
Roy worked at Sewell Paint & Glass company his whole career. It was a very good union for both Roy and the company back in the days when loyalty was given and expected. At one point early in his career, Roy was ill for two years and the company stood by him until he was able to return.
I remember Roy. He was gentle and kind to me. I'm glad to have known him just a little.
