Mrs Delphia Sherrill Smith, 69, Rossville, Ga., passed away Sunday at a Chattanooga hospital. She was formerly of Cumberland county, a daughter of Craven and Molly Sherrill.
Surviving are her husband, Ira, also formerly of Cumberland county; 2 daughers, Mrs Christine Hutchinson, Hixson; Mrs Patty Ruth Griffith, Rossville, Ga; 3 sons, Charles, Knoxville; Edward, Rushville, Ill; Gary, Rossville, Ga.
Also surviving are 3 brothers, Bradley Sherrill, Dorton; Oscar, Crab Orchard; Tony, LaGrange, Oh; a sister, Mrs Wilbert Schroeder, Freeport, Tx. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Chattanooga Funeral Home with burial in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
