Esther R. Messner (nee Robertson), 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, GiGi, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2012. Born 1928 in Hookstown, Pa. to Rev. and Mrs. T. A. Robertson, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Burton Robertson; and one sister, Ellen Hollinsworth. She is survived by her husband, Keith, of 64 years; sons, Ronald (Julia), Thomas (Kathleen), and Lowell Messner; eight grandchildren, Timothy (Sheila) Messner, Amy (Jason) Saragian, Thomas, Benjamin, Samuel, Luke and Ruth Messner and Anthony Messner; and her three great-grandsons, Ian and Isaac Messner and Liam Saragian, all of whom were the joy of her life. Friends may call Friday, July 6, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Grace Church in Norton, 3970 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. with funeral services Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Combs and Rev. Randy Ritchey officiating. Interment at Copley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hobe Sound Bible College, P.O. Box, 1065 Hobe Sound, Florida 33475 in memory of Esther.
