LEBANON - HAMILTON, HENRY LOUIS, 91, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at his home. Louis lived his entire life in Marion County. He was committed to God, his family and his community. He never knew a stranger and could always make people laugh. He served in World War II in the Signal Corp. He served as the Property Valuation Administrator of Marion County for 24 years, succeeding his father of 32 years. He was a very active member of the St. Augustine parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed being with people and especially his lifelong friends from Salot's Cabin. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Sue Blandford Hamilton of 33 years; parents, William and Martha Young Hamilton; sisters, Irene Beaven, Catherine Hamilton, Mary Rose Heffernan and Virginia Bunch; and brother, Richard Hamilton. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cettie Lee Raley Hamilton; sisters, Flaget Raby, Frankie Leachman and Dorothy Jacobson; brother, Joe Hamilton; his children, Mary Hardin, Gerry Hamilton (Karen), Martha Hamilton, Brenda Clarke (Bill), Tom Hamilton (Karen), Peggy Brashear (Tom), Rose Greene (Steve) and Kathy Hamilton (Lori); step children, Jan Beauchamp and Terry Brockman; and his grandchildren, Tony Hardin, Brittany Hardin, Will Hamilton, Hunter Hamilton, Bradley Clarke, Megan Clarke, Ryan Clarke, Colin Clarke, Matthew Hamilton, Taylor Brashear, Christen Brashear, Anna Greene, Kennedy Nodler and Michael Beauchamp. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at St. Augustine Church, South Spalding Avenue, Lebanon KY, 40033. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bosley's Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus or St. Augustine School.
