Born June 15, 1922, in Natrona, he lived there all of his life. He worked for 28 years at the Harrison Township Public Works Department, retiring in 1984.
Mr. Adamski was a member of St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph Parish, Natrona. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Survivors include his two sisters, Constance "Connie" Zaboski, of Lower Burrell, and Leona Geslak, of Oakland, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Josephine (Przygoda) Adamski; seven brothers, Bernard, Sylvester, John, Floyd and Stephen Adamski and infant brothers, Chester and Ted Adamski; and three sisters, Laura Skiba, Genevieve Knasko Baranowski and Valeria L. Kozlowski.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 2 Pine St. and River Avenue, Natrona, where parting prayers will begin at 11 a.m. Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Spruce Street, Natrona, with his pastor, the Rev. James K. Mazurek, officiating. Burial in St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
