Mackey James Thompson Jr. died April 29, 2005, at age 90.
Mr. Thompson was born May 21, 1914, in St. Paul, Minn. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He lived in California and Washington before moving to Oregon in the early 1980s, then lived in areas throughout the state, most recently in Wilsonville. He was a marketing manager for Longview Fibre for 35 years. He married Adeline Hughes in 1952.
Survivors include his wife; and nieces and nephews.
