Isabella Whitley, daughter of William C Whitley and Esther Gill, married Phillip Allen Sublette, son of Littleberry Sublette and Sarah Burton. Isabella and Phillip had at least eight children; William Lewis, Milton Green, Sophronia Fullen, Mary L, Andrew Whitley, Sally, Pinckney W, and Solomon Perry. The book "Bill Sublette Mountain Man" written by John E Sunder, states that Isabella Whitley and husband Phillip Allen Sublette were buried in a "tiny Protestant cemetery near their home in St. Charles, St Charles County, Missouri.
