ALFRED J. APRUZZI died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 69.
Born in Newark, he resided there until moving to Old Bridge 38 years ago.
Mr. Apruzzi was a warehouse worker for Flying Tiger Airlines at Newark Airport, where he worked for 25 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1961-1963.
Mr. Apruzzi was a Communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge, a member of the Old Bridge Moose Lodge and the Crandall-Kossman Post #177, American Legion, Old Bridge.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Joanne DelliSanti Apruzzi; two sons, Thomas and his wife Kristine and Alfred, all of Old Bridge; a brother Rudy and his wife Peggy of Westfield; two sisters, Mary Ierubino of Coral Springs, FL and Angelina Kohler and her husband Walter of Barnegat Bay and two granddaughters, Alexandria and Alyssa.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:15 AM in The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
