Joseph was born Sept. 20, 1957, in Baguio, Philippines, to Conchita Dela Cruz and Jose Nacion. He graduated from Saint Louis Boys High School in 1974 and attended University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University to further his education in the medical field.
He volunteered with the American Boxing Association and helped open the first level-two nursery in Nepal.
He was the medical director of ACI Pediatrics in Nevada since 1998.
Joseph was well known for his generosity and kindness to the community and his patients. He had a passion for cars, travelling, photography, and outdoor adventures.
He is survived by his mother, Conchita; son, Patrick; and significant other, Arlene Nipales.
A candlelight memorial ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Pastor Allen will be performing the prayer services. Family and friends my come to the ceremony as early as 5:45 p.m.
