Spanish-American War: Pvt Charles McKee served in the Army from 12 Apr 1899 to 23 Jun 1902 as part of the 20th Kansas Volunteer Infantry "Fighting 20th", Regiment 22, Company K in the Spanish and the Philippine Wars (in the battle of the Philippine Insurection). He was discharged at Angel Island, San Francisco, California.
