Henry A. Bowler


Henry A. Bowler, 62, of Rollins Fork, died after a long illness at Mary Washington Hospital .

Mr. Bowler was a retired employee of Naval Surface Weapons Center in Dahlgren, He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charlotte C Bowler; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy R. Trivett of Colonial Beach, Mrs., Julia F Grimes of Rollins Fork and Mrs. Jean M. Frampton of King George; a son Henry E. Bowler of Colonial Beach; three brothers, Fate Bowler of Baltimore, MD, Eugene Bowler of Woodbridge and James Bowler of Colonial Beach: two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Cain and Mrs. Lorraine Betz, both of Baltimore, MD; and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held a 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Methodist Church in Rollins Folk. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, The Rev. Carl LeMon will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Nash and Shaw Funeral Home in Colonial Beach.

Expressions of sympathy may be contributions to the Colonial Beach Rescue Squad.
