A funeral service for Elmer Lee Clore, 65, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, who died Wednesday at a Fort Walton Beach hospital, will be held at 2 pm at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Clore Hill Cemetery in Spotsylvania. Chaplain Dan Armstrong will officiate.
Mr. Clore was a Spotsylvania County native and a graduate of Chancellor High School. He had lived away from this area since 1940 and was a retired Air Force Mater Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Corrie B. Clore, his former wife Mrs. Martha M. Clore of Tucson, two daughters, Miss Linda Clore of Guatemala and Miss Lisa Clore of Tuscon, Arizona, two sons, Jarvie and Anthony Clore, both of Tuscon, Arizona, two stepsons, Larry J Parker of West Palm Beach, Florida and Lt. Col. William A. Parker, USMC of Honolulu, two sisters, Lacy Mae Clore Smith of Spotsylvania and Mrs. Lucy C. Bowler of Fredericksburg, two grandchildren and two step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
