MRS. L.R. BOWLER DIES HERE IN HOSPITAL
Mrs Lillian P Bowler, 67, of RFD 1, Fredericksburg, died unexpectedly Monday of a heart attack at Mary Washington Hospital, where she had been under going treatment for several days.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Roy Bowler; three sons, Alton LeRoy Bowler
and Wilbur Harrison Bowler, Sr
of RFD 1, and Emmett Irvin Bowler
of Falmouth; two daughters, Annie Byrdett Bowler Marders
of Oak Grove and Mary Madaline Bowler Long
, of RFD 1; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A native of Index, Mrs Bowler was the daughter of Richard Coleman Pitts and Lucy Edson Bowler. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church at Rollins Fork.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev Millard B Stump officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
