Elsie B. Clore
A funeral service for Mrs. Elsie B. Clore, 72, of RFD 1, who died Tuesday at her home, Three Oaks, will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday in Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ellis Lacey officiating. Interment will be in the Clore Family Cemetery in Spotsylvania.
Pallbearers will be Charles L. Clore, Garnett Lee Smith, Charles K. Lettner, Bradford C. Clore, Wilbur H. Bowler, Jr., and Hunter L. Bowler.Surviving are two sons, Elmer Lee Clore of Homestead, Fla., and Emmett Pratt Clore of Hartwood,; two daughters, Lacy Mae Clore Smith and Mrs. Lucy C. Bowler, both of Fredericksburg; a brother, Preston Jones of Atlantic City, NJ. J., 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Clore had retired as clerk of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Arlington in 1967.The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home.
