Allen was born on June 6, 1932 in Dunwoody, Georgia, a son of the late Lon and Charlsey Morgan Loyd, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Robinson Loyd.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Allen will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Shirley at North Atlanta Memorial Park.
