Mr. Gene Elvin Graham, age 75, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at McLeod Loris Hospital following an illness. Born July 7, 1937 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Herman Jennings Graham and the late Esther Lee Soles Graham. Mr. Graham served his country with courage and honor for over twenty years in the U.S. Navy, fighting in both Vietnam and the Korean Conflict. Upon his retirement he worked as the manager for Carolina Linen Systems, Inc. and was a member of the Loris First Baptist Church. Mr. Graham was an avid fisherman and a charter member of the Swamp Fox Bass Masters of Loris but he will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors including his wife of fifty-four years, Norma Bellamy Graham of the home; son, Boyd Jennings Graham of Loris, SC; daughter, DeeAnna G. Gerald and husband, Ivey of Loris, SC; three grandchildren, Shaylyn Marie Graham, Taylor Lyneé Graham and Ryan Ivey Gerald; one great granddaughter, Sheala Graham; four sisters, Carolyn G. Coats and husband, Gene of Loris, SC, Gayle Henson of Wingate, NC, Lora Kaye Strickland and husband, Texford of Tabor City, NC and Theresa Eskridge and husband, Dr. Chuck Eskridge of Columbia, SC; sister-in-law, Clara Graham and brother-in-law B.J. Bellamy and wife, Wendy all of Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to his parents Mr. Graham was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Elton Graham and Ray Zelton Graham.
