Justine Faith (nee Williamson) Ball, a Williamson, West Virginia resident, passed away on April 24, 2009, at the Hospice House of Huntington in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia. She was 86.

Born September 25, 1922, in Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late N. B. "Poe" Williamson and Susan (nee Staten) Williamson.

A graduate of John's Creek High School and Pikeville College, she was a veteran of the United States Army. She was a Corporal in the United States Army Air Corps WACS. She and her late husband, M. Tabor Ball, Jr., former Mingo County Coroner and a third-generation funeral director, operated the M. T. Ball Funeral Home at 106 West Second Avenue in Williamson, West Virginia. M. T. Ball Funeral Home was the oldest funeral home in Williamson and operated from 1903 until 1992.

In addition to her parents, Justine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion Tabor Ball ; sisters, Beatrice Gillam, Hope Williamson, Fay Phillips, Lois Webb, and Mae Owens; brothers John and Glen Williamson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Karen Yost and husband, John, of Prichard, West Virginia; daughter, Marion "Sissy" Cochran and husband, Steve, of Huntington, West Virginia; son, Maurice Tabor "Chip" Ball and wife, Tammy, of Williamson, West Virginia; grandchildren, Bradley Scott (Adria) Yost of Huntington, West Virginia, Ashley (Matt) Williamson of Prichard, West Virginia, Tracee (Joe) Hinkle of Barboursville, West Virginia, Derek Steven Cochran of Huntington, West Virginia; Amanda (Andrew) Rosenbalm of Bristol, Virginia; Ashley (Christopher) Justice of Beech Creek, West Virginia; great-grandchildren, Jillian Faith Yost, Seth Joseph Hinkle, Lexy Rosenbalm, Kayla Rosenbalm, Brayden Justice, and Shaela Justice; and brother Grover Williamson of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel of Toler, Kentucky, at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, April 27, 2009. Ernie Richie, former funeral director of M. T. Ball Funeral Home, officiated the funeral service. A visitation was held one hour before the funeral ceremony.

Justine Faith Williamson Ball was laid to rest in the Williamson Family Cemetery at John's Creek in Meta, Kentucky.
