William "Bill" Mundy, formerly of Ivesdale, passed away on Sept. 10, 2012, at Veterans Hospital of Fayetteville, N.C.
Military services and burial were held on Sept. 13 at Sand Hills Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, N.C.
Bill is survived by a sister, Louise Willis of Roseboro, N.C.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lenza and Thelma Harper of Ivesdale; and three brothers-in-law, Frank Jean of Ivesdale, Rutherford Jean of Tuscola and John Jean of Griffin, Ga. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Jean Mundy; a son, Billy Mundy; and his sister, Rosemary Durbin.
He will be missed.
