Arthur C. Ford, 83, formerly of Lafayette, died in Mercy Medical Center, Orlando, FL, at 1:30 AM Thursday, Feb. 22, 1968. He was a patient there for two weeks. Born at Farmland, he was reared there but lived in Lafayette 54 years and was employed by the Alton Box Board Company for 40 years before his retirement in 1952. He had lived in Orlando since 1958.

Mr. Ford was married at Marion in 1905, to Myrtle Stella Carson, who died in 1957. He attended Hope Chapel Presbyterian Church and was an honorary member of the Fathers Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1154.

Surviving are six sons, Max, Harold and Leslie Ford of Lafayette; Norman L. Ford of Pacific Palisades, CA; Francis I. Ford of Simi, CA; and Gordon L. Ford of Orlando, FL; eight daughters, Mrs. Stillman Berry, Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Netherton, both of Concord, CA; Mrs. John (Mabel) Goonen of Orlando, FL; Mrs. Harold (Bertha) Moser of North Webster; Mrs. Ridvan (Jane) Uner of Chicago; Mrs. George (Belle) Christie, Mrs. Adolph (Daisy) Karlstrand and Mrs. Archie (Leona) Wilt, all of Lafayette; three brothers, Ernest, Oscar and Herbert Ford, all of Muncie; 31 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body will be sent to Lafayette. Service Feb. 26, Hippensteel Chapel, the Rev. Ronald D. Ely officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
