Matthew Dale McManaman 49, a beloved husband, father and friend, passed unexpectedly at his Tucson residence Sunday, February 15, 2009. Matt was born in Marion, Indiana on February 17, 1959. He was survived by daughters, Amber and Nicole; wife, Nancy; step-daughters, Melissa and Tiffany; parents, Mary and Wayne; siblings, Mark and Lori; dog, Kirby, as well as countless other friends and family from Arizona, Indiana, South Carolina, and more. Matt lived a fortunate life. He was program manager and worked in the aerospace industry for more than 25 years after graduating with an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University. He was successful, driven, well-respected, and admired. He was a sports lover and a true fan of Purdue and University of Arizona, the Colts, and especially NASCAR. More importantly: Matt loved his family. He dedicated his life to establishing a safe, secure and cohesive home for his wife and children. He was a provider, a protector, and a trusted advisor. He will be missed.
