NOBLESVILLE — Martin "Marty" T. McBride, 49, was born in Marion to Alber F. and Helen M. McBride, and his father preceded him in death.
He was a former resident of Swayzee and was a 1977 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He married Judy Carlson, she survives.
He formerly worked at Roadway Trucking, DeVoe Chevrolet and Irving Brothers. He was a life member of the NRA and a member of Herbst United Methodist Church.
Survivors include wife, Judy McBride, Noblesville; mother, Helen McBride-Lawson, Swayzee; stepfather, Russell Lawson, Swayzee; stepchildren, Steven C. (Alicia) Cooley, Indianapolis, Heather J. Cooley, Indianapolis, Bradford C. Cooley, Noblesville; brother, Mark A. (Brenda) McBride, Marion; sister, Shannon M. McBride, Greentown; step-grandchild, Aidan; nieces, Brianna (Matt) Buckley, Fishers, Hannah Baumgartner, Greentown; nephews, Andrew McBride, Columbus, Alex Keenan, Greentown, Tom Driver, Greentown, and Wil Driver, Greentown.
Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, in Needham Storey-Wampner-Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, with the Reverend Jim Miller. Burial will be in Thrailkill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, and Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
