THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Carroll Dwain Hock, Sr., 75, of Sagamore Drive entered into rest September 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, September 7, 2012 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Harlem with Revs. Charles Broome and Benjamin Wiles officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors.

Mr. Hock was born in Palestine, Texas and was the son of the late Henry Virgil Hock and the late Evelyn Mae (Swearingen) Hock. He as pre-deceased by three brothers, Virgil, Reggie and his twin, Harold Wayne.

He was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service and retired from the Maintenance Department at Gracewood in Augusta after 17 years of service. Mr. Hock was also a devoted Christian and faithful member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Carroll Dwain Hock, Jr. and wife, Cindi, and David Henry Hock; daughters, Barbara Derringer and husband, Tim, Alicia Stunkel and husband, Gerald, Melissa Ray and husband, Edgar and Candice Hock; sister, Sharon Singh of Thomson and brother, Larry of Midland, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 o'clock Friday, September 7, 2012 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church prior to the service. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
