MONONA — John P. Adams, age 83, of 5511 Wlnnequah Trail, died on Friday,December 23,1988, at a Madison nursing home. He was born on December 17, 1905, In Waunakee. He retired from Oscar Mayer as a Tool & Die Maker. He was married to Lucia LaReau on September 28,1927, In Madison. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
He Is survived by his wife, Lucia, of Monona; a son, John (Joyce) Adams of Monona; four grandsons, John, Brad, Mark, and James Adams; and a sister, Anita Munson of Madison. He was preceded In death by a sister, Mariette Kampmeier.
Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 5101 Schofield Street, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 1988, with Father Robert Gille officiating. Burial will be In Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26,1988, at the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorials to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church would be appreciated.
