Irene May Bryan, 60, 714 Tremont, Ave., wife of Chester Bryan, died Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Limestone, ME, she was a daughter of teh late Herbert and Addie Drost Wilcox. She attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, and an employee of teh Fayette Co. School Systems. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Theresa Bryan, Richmond; four daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Gould, Joy and Elmer Harris, all of Lexington, Pamela and Arner Whitaker, Jenkins, and Melissa and Jeff Wilcox, Richmond; fourteen grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers, Herbert, Charles and John Wilcox; two sisters, Frances Nedeau and Mary Schumacher. Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church by Pastor Dewayne Walker. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Paul Bryan Jr., Logan Gould, Matthew Gould, Don Smith, Bryant Butler, Elmer Harris and Wilcox. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home and Friday 11 a.m. until time of services at the church.
