Paul L. Tincher, 73, of South Bend, Indiana, died Monday morning, March 12, in his daughter's home following his battle with lung cancer. Born March 29, 1933, in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Ivan Tincher and Paul and Alice (Davis) Hillenburg. He was retired from Nickles Bakery. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bret and Maria Tincher of Pearland, Texas; a daughter, Paula Howell of Huron, Ohio; and a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Dan Ooley of Indianapolis; two brothers, Donald E. Tincher of Zanesville, Ohio, and Ronald D. Tincher of Indianapolis; and one sister, Mary Ann McMichaels of Bloomington. He has seven grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriella Tincher, Kory Howell, Kimberly, Jamie, Amanda and Christopher Ooley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Tincher in 2005, and by his parents. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Day Funeral Home Chapel in Bloomington, with the Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and on Thursday from noon until the service time in the funeral home.
