Galivants Ferry….Robert Benjiman Peavy, age 70, husband of Iris Collins Peavy passed away September 1, 2012 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Peavy was born June 24, 1942, son of the late John V. and Lillie Bell Cooper Peavy. He was predeceased by one son Robert John Peavy. Mr. Peavy enjoyed his animals and farming. Surviving Mr. Peavy are his wife, Mrs. Iris Collins Peavy of the home, two daughters, Sabrina P. Cox and husband Mark of Blythewood, SC, Stacey P. Brown and husband Casey of Galivants Ferry, SC, five grandchildren, Evan Cox, Alex Cox, Chloe Brown, Collin Brown, Lily Brown, four brothers, John "Billy" Peavy, Jimmy Peavy, Larry Wayne Peavy, all of Galivants Ferry, Joseph "Bollie" Peavy of Conway, two sisters, Marilyn Rich of Aiken, SC, Bobbie Jean Peavy of Galivants Ferry, and a special niece, Jeannie Burroughs of Galivants Ferry.
